Tom Petty was only 11 when a chance encounter with Elvis lit a fire in his soul.  The Beatles fanned those flames when he saw them performing on TV.  And by the time he was a teenager, Tom had started runnin’ down the dream.  He listened to his heart.  He was learning to fly.  He wouldn’t back down.  And deep inside he knew that even the losers get lucky sometimes.
