In the beginning, there was Genesis.  But what came after was a revelation.

Launched by a handful of British boarding school friends, Genesis found themselves in the vanguard of progressive rock,…but when their lead singer Peter Gabriel left for an idiosyncratic and critically acclaimed solo career,…the band soldiered on and built a loyal following of their own…only to have their replacement singer Phil Collins pave the way for further success thanks to his own solo career.    

They may have had origins in the eccentric world of prog rock, but Genesis, Phil Collins, and Peter Gabriel went on to become some of the most successful artists of the ‘80s.
