Kudos to manager Roger Davies for realizing that Tina had not just the promise, but also the determination and drive to succeed.  Together they made a great team.

Q:  How would you like to be remembered?

A:  As the Queen of Rock’n’Roll. 

Though she was living like royalty, Tina Turner admitted, “I was just a shadow.”

“When I did my first tour of Europe [in my early 20s], I got word that my father was working in an office in Vienna, Austria. I tracked him down and went to visit him.”

It turned out to be a profound experience. 

“If Joel has learned anything from history, it's that he should never write a song about one of his wives.”

In 2012, Alec Baldwin spoke with Billy Joel on his podcast Here’s the Thing.  At one point in the conversation, Alec told Billy that he had all the skills to be an actor and asked him why he never pursued it.
