Bono admitted that his attempt to inject a something visually memorable into U2’s performance at Live Aid did go awry.  As he put it, “I’d gone AWOL to try and find a television moment and forgot about the song.”

U2 have a new release on the way, a compilation album of songs that have been “reimagined and re-recorded.”

A journalist gave Bono a book that he later claimed changed his life. It was the biography of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Considering that Bono has had encounters with everyone from David Bowie and Frank Sinatra to Mikhail Gorbachev and Steve Jobs, there won’t be any shortage of insightful anecdotes.
